We are dog people!

Does anything else need to be said? We love our pets the same way you love yours -they are family. We treat them as such. Photographically they get the royal treatment. We fuss over the final results on the same level as humans. What sets us apart from the crowd is that we leverage photo skills from other disciplines including wildlife and sports. When it comes to outdoors and action we apply these skills to create unique and interesting perspectives that the average shooter just can't get. Have a look at what we can do and keep in mind it is only the tip of the iceberg. We want to hear your ideas and we will work with you to come up with not only the photos from a shoot but the memories of participating in the shoot itself. Yes you will participate. Having you direct your pet makes for comfortable, happy dogs sets the stage for potentially interesting moments. We like to make sure some of the photos include you. At the end of the day its how we interact with our pets and show love that is what we need to capture in addition to everything else. Let's talk and figure out how to show your pet best.

Pet Portraiture...

We offer our traditional photo packages the only difference is the subject and the time involved. We get that pets can be a little uncooperative at times and we extend our shoot times to make sure you have enough images to choose from. We have a complete mobile studio and offer posed studio sessions in your home where your pet will feel most safe and comfortable. We have a home studio available but only for smaller dogs. Your dog will do best in your home when it comes to sitting still for posed shots. We also suggest you consider outdoor locations for posed shooting. Of course dogs love to run and action photography with dogs is something we really look forward to. We apply the techniques learned from shooting birds in flight and sports to dogs running and jumping. We also use true sports lenses like the ones you see on the sidelines of a football game, to achieve a 'look' that you just can't get any other way. We have a number of locations that we can recommend and what time of day they work best for lighting. Fall or winter make for interesting photos, especially with action playing in leaves or snow. If your dog can catch a long throw frisbee you need to call us. We have a special package for those. Fitness Portraiture...

For both competitive and non-competitive people. We offer a traditional 'bodybuilding' type photoshoot or our signature 'figure study' black and white artistic product. For those that are non-competitive, maybe you're in the best shape of your live and want some really good memories for all the work you put in. In addition we also offer something for the person that is just starting their journey, before and after photos which is available with any of our packages and there is a way to get it free.

Something more than special.....

Astro Portraiture

Would you like something almost beyond exclusive. This is for someone that wants a truly unique photo experience and something so rare that you can talk about it for years. We are proud to announce a new product, astro portraiture. The two shots shown here are proof of concept from August 2023. These are single exposure photos not digital replacement backgrounds. This is where it gets tricky. If this shot was easy to get then everyone would be doing it. That's what makes it so special. You will experience seeing the stars during the shoot. This is something only available 4 times per year in form of 5 night windows based on the lunar calendar. It is travel required and weather dependent. Advanced planning of up to 1 year is required. Some things to remember. We can't guarantee weather when it doesn't cooperate so a shoot could potentially go down the drain quickly. We have a 5 night window to work with so plan for at least 6 days/5 nights away. We can't guaranty shooting stars but with reasonable certainty we can predict when you are likely to find them. The proof is in the astro portfolio. We can and do plan for shooting stars, have a look and see for yourself. Because of the lead time involved feel free to contact if you are interested and have questions. It is a new product starting with the first window of opportunity in June 2024. We are still working out the details.

Sports and Action

For many of us, sports are a part of our daily lives. Whether we participate, watch or support a loved one, sports and competition are things we naturally gravitate to. So whether it is a 5 year old's first goal or the high school championship we can help you to document those important memories. Our shooting concept is to get the shot by leveraging our entire skillset for action that has its roots in wildlife and birds of prey where the action is both fast and erratic. Due to the conceptual nature of our shooting skills we have the ability to shoot just about any sport from team sports like hockey to individual sports like gymnastics. Another area of action we can cover, although not a sport is dance. The similarities of capturing gymnastics and dance make for a good example of how shooting skills cross over. If you have a need for action photos that are not sport, have no fear we would love to hear from you. Prior to the shoot, meticulous preparations are made, encompassing gear selection, servicing, and planning for both studio and on-location shoots.
